Wayne David, Labour MP for Caerphilly Working hard for the people of the Caerphilly constituency
Wayne David, Labour MP for Caerphilly, has responded to reports that Caerphilly County Borough Council is likely to withdraw its draft Local Development Plan (LDP).
Wayne David said, “I am pleased that Caerphilly County Borough Council is listening to public opinion and the views of the local AM and MP and is set to withdraw its Local Development Plan. This shows that in a democracy it is worth putting forward well-thought out points of view and campaigning hard on issues of local importance.
“It is now vital that there be a regional approach to planning that covers the whole of South East Wales and not just Caerphilly”.
