Wayne David, Labour MP for Caerphilly has just signed up for the RAF Parliamentary Scheme.  The scheme involves MPs visiting various RAF bases and learning more about how the RAF functions and how it operates to defend our country.

Mr David will spend a number of weeks with the RAF during the course of the next 12 months.

Mr David said “I am delighted that I will be following in the footsteps of my father who was in the RAF during the Second World War.  Being with the RAF, during their centenary year, will give me a special insight into the RAF and it will be invaluable for my work as a member of Labour’s Shadow Defence team”.
