Wayne David Labour MP for Caerphilly has met with Llanmau, the charity working to end homelessness for young people and women in Wales.

He met workers in Llanmau in their new offices in Wern Ddu Court, Caerphilly.

Wayne David met with a range of project workers involved with Llanmau’s Domestic Abuse Services and Learning 4 Life.  As a former youth worker himself, Mr David discussed the work which was being carried out by Llanmau and its partners.

At Christmas time Mr David decided not to send official Christmas cards but sent digital greetings and committed to donating the money saved to a charity.  Mr David  handed over a cheque to Llanmau during his visit.

After his visit Wayne David said “I was very impressed with the good work of Llanmau.  They are working hard to end youth homelessness and homelessness for women.  And they are also working with other bodies to ensure that all young people have a future to look forward to and that domestic abuse is tackled effectively”
