Following a visit to Well Drawn Brewing in Bedwas, Caerphilly, Labour MP for Caerphilly Wayne David met the owner, Craig Edmunds, in the Stranger’s Bar in Westminster.

Mr David helped to arrange for the brewery’s excellent ‘New Wave’ beer to be provided in the Stranger’s Bar in the House of Commons for a limited introductory period.

Well Drawn Brewing offer a variety of lagers and IPAs, all brewed out of their workshop in Bedwas. They often name their drinks after local places and, during lockdown, came up with inventive ways to let the community taste and purchase their products.

Mr David said “The New Wave IPA is a high-quality brew and has been well received. Well Drawn Brewing are an excellent microbrewery and I have no doubt that they will go from strength to strength, given the high quality of their product”.
